Housekeeping Supervisor
Bilingual Housekeeping Supervisor:
The BEST WESTERN PLUS Colony Inn & Conference Center is seeking an experienced, motivated individual who can assist in the supervision of the Housekeeping & Laundry departments of a busy 75 room select service hotel. The ideal candidate must possess good communication skills, in both English & Spanish and have previous Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience.
In supervising a staff of 10 to 12 individuals, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of care & concern for each staff member while providing the very best in guest service, cleanliness & property maintenance.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist in the training & development of the associates, conduct room inspections to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, interact with the Front Desk & Engineering and contribute to the safety & security of the hotel.
Additional duties may include scheduling, inventory management, control of Lost & Found items, maintenance & upkeep of public areas as well as special projects as may be assigned.
The candidate chosen must work well with other, demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and be flexible in their work schedule to include week-ends, holidays and evenings.
